Of course, you can never rule out Dale Earnhardt, Jr., who has racing in his blood. The top five is rounded out by Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick, while Tony Stewart sits in a disappointing 8th place. Still, there is plenty of racing to come and it’s anyone’s guess who will be on top at the final checkered flag!

The Dan Lowry 400 at Richmond International Raceway is 300 miles and should be exciting. It’s followed by the Dodge Challenger 500 at Darlington Raceway before there’s a slight break in the action for Sprint Showdown and Sprint All-Star Race XXIV. May ends with the Coca-Cola 600, the longest race on the NASCAR schedule at 600 miles, taking place at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. It should be an exciting month, so buckle up and enjoy!
